Much Needed Update! :)

Here is a major update with lots of pictures and even of new video! The last few months have just flown by-- I'm not even sure where November and December have gone. The beginning of November the kids and I made a trip to Houston while Scott left for a winter camp with Young Life. Honestly, I can't even remember what we did in TX, it feels like it was so long ago. But I do remember that we were able to see all of my family during that trip, so that was nice. The week before Thanksgiving Scott's dad had called to inform us that Pops (Scott's grandfather) was not doing well. He ended up passing away the very next day at the age of (almost) 93. Although we all knew it was coming, it was still hard to hear. So we jumped on a plane to San Antonio the next day in order to be there for the services. It was a great time with family to reflect and visit on what a great man Pops was. How blessed we are to have a legacy that he has left behind. Scott and him had a neat relationship and talked a lot about our direction in ministry, we are thankful for his advice. We know that he is with our Lord - Praise God! Our visit in San Antonio was very short, since it fell right before Thanksgiving. We flew back home, to Vail, and celebrated Thanksgiving with Scott's mom. We had a great visit, went to the North Pole (in Colorado Springs), the Beaver Creek tree lighting, sledding, Scott and I were able to ski a few days and even took Hannah skiing - which we hope will go better next time (she cried the whole way down the hill!). After Thanksgiving we were excited to get into the "holiday spirit"! We went and cut down our Christmas tree, which was a lot of fun. Definitely reminds us a little bit of Charlie Browns :). Hannah has had a lot of fun this year with the Christmas idea and Santa- she even had a phone call from him (thanks to a friend of Lori's!) which was hilarious!! It is the year of Disney.....everything that has the princesses on it I hear "I want that!!! I should ask Santa). It will be a lot of fun this Christmas. Anyways, I know that was A LOT of information....here are some more pictures (and in no particular order, sorry! Alot of them uploaded in reverse order...so sorry!) Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Here are some pictures from Hannah's dance recital....there is also a video at the bottom of this blog-- very very cute!!

Hannah in her "racecar"

Asher seems a bit worried with his sister in the driver's seat!
He thinks this is much better....he actually had a lot of fun driving his sister's car...he thought he was pretty cool! :)
"Trimming the tree"! Decorating the christmas tree....and Hannah pretending to drink the Starbucks ornament :)

Asher's first bike ride in the Burley! He enjoyed it and we look forward to many more once it's warmer!!
Asher wasn't sure what to think of Santa....Hannah didn't even want to get close to him, we were in tears immediately! She made a point to tell him what she wanted as he came in on the firetruck though...see below pics

Hannah stood here and yelled at Santa "I want the Cinderella chair!!" over and over again, while the other kids just stood behind her.
Hannah's first dance show.....pretty entertaining! She definitely dances it her own beat.

Your kids are ADORABLE!!! I love the pics! And the dance video is priceless. Her moves were cuter than the choreography anyway. :-)
